Our next Fireside Chat is happening on 5th June 2023! In this member-exclusive meeting, we are pleased to have Gregory Vijayendran, Senior Counsel, Former Law Society President, join us for this event.

These meetings will be held monthly and have a special guest speaker present to share with us their testimony, knowledge and/or guidance on various issues happening in the marketplace or around the world.

These meetings will provide a safe space for our members to learn more about how to trackle difficult situations and how we can shine the light on the more complicated or overlooked issues of the world.

Gregory Vijayendran

Senior Counsel, Former Law Society President

Gregory Vijayendran is the longest serving President of the Law Society of Singapore completing his office in 2021. He practises litigation, arbitration and mediation in Rajah & Tann LLP and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2019.

Gregory has servant-led the Christian law fraternity via the Law Christian Fellowship for nearly two decades. In addition, he has been appointed from last year to serve as Chairman of Prison Fellowship Singapore, a Board Member of Tung Ling Bible School and an Advisor to Gatekeepers Singapore. In social service, Gregory had, and continues to have, a unique, direct and longstanding involvement including serving as President of Club Rainbow (Singapore) from 1996 to 2015.

At present, among other roles, he serves as Honorary General Secretary of National Council of Social Services and President of the Tribunal of Maintenance of Parents. He was conferred the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat in 2022. Gregory sees his spiritual role in the marketplace to be salt and light and serving as spiritual father to many.
